Baptism Sunday graphics

A baptism graphic is a name and a time. Misspelling the person being baptized is the failure mode, so type the name in the brief exactly, letter by letter. If there is a practical note — arrive early, bring a towel, children stay with parents — that outranks a decorative river.

Ask before you publish the name

Some people want the church to know. Some do not want their name on Instagram. Get a yes before the name leaves the building. If you cannot use the name, design the Sunday — “Baptism Sunday, November 2, 10am” — and leave the person off the public file.

A brief you can start from

Questions

What about dedications?

Same rules: correct names, or no names. Say “dedication” if that is what you are doing. Do not let the tool call it a baptism.
